When I met Katelyn the first time I absolutely loved her incredible energy. She was filled with kindness, inner beauty, strength and power all at the same time. She looked to me like a brave, yet gentle girl from a classic work of art. That’s why I felt the necessity to show her not only as a gorgeous woman who shines from within, but also to show her as a work of art too.
When she came to my studio, we talked and laughed a lot. My makeup artist made sure Katelyn looooved the way she looked before we started our session. The first part was fashion inspired and Katelyn absolutely rocked it. I posed her head to toe and we had the most beautiful time celebrating her ability to just exist in her full feminine power. I felt the further we progressed through this process, the more she enjoyed it. So when we started photographing her in more of a vulnerable and conceptual way, she was open to all of my ideas. As a result, we produced very individualized and creative images. When we saw the result, both of us were proud of it.
